Learny is an AI-powered learning companion designed to support learning through AI avatars, text and voice-based interaction, AI-generated conversations, quizzes, games, learning topics, progress mechanics, Stars and reward features, avatar-related experiences, and Premium and Super Premium subscriptions.
Learny is intended to make learning more interactive, engaging, and personalized.
However, Learny is provided for educational support, learning assistance, practice, motivation, and entertainment purposes only.
2. Not a School or Official Educational Institution
Learny is not a school, university, accredited educational institution, official curriculum provider, examination authority, certified tutoring service, or government education provider. Learny does not issue official grades, diplomas, certificates, academic credits, school records, or legally recognized educational qualifications. Any progress, quiz results, game results, Stars, learning streaks, or app activity shown inside Learny are internal product features only and should not be treated as formal academic assessment.
3. No Guaranteed Learning Outcomes
Learny does not guarantee that using the app will result in better school grades, passing exams, improved academic performance, mastery of a subject, completion of a curriculum, specific educational achievements, measurable learning improvement, or improved memory, logic, reading, writing, or speaking skills. Learning outcomes depend on many factors, including user effort, consistency, prior knowledge, age, learning environment, school requirements, parental support, and other external circumstances. Learny is a support tool, not a guarantee of success.
4. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer
Learny uses AI systems and third-party AI providers, including DeepSeek, to generate responses and learning interactions. AI-generated content may include explanations, answers, examples, quiz support, conversation replies, learning suggestions, avatar dialogue, and game-related guidance. You should not treat AI-generated responses as guaranteed truth. Important information should be checked with reliable sources, teachers, parents, tutors, or qualified professionals.

If we become aware that a user under 13 is using Learny, we may delete the account and associated data.
8. Voice Input Disclaimer
Learny may allow users to use voice input. Speech-to-text tools may make mistakes, especially when speech is unclear, background noise is present, the language is not recognized correctly, or the device speech recognition system produces an error. Users should review voice-transcribed text when accuracy matters.

10. Progress, Stars, and Rewards Disclaimer
Learny may include progress mechanics, Stars, rewards, streaks, and a Star Shop. These features are designed to motivate learning and make the app more engaging. At the current stage, Stars can be earned through app activity, Stars cannot be purchased for money, Shop items cannot be purchased with Stars or real money, and Star Shop may function as a preview or motivational feature. Learny may change Stars, rewards, streaks, Star Shop, or digital item mechanics at any time.

12. Free Trial Disclaimer
Learny may offer a 3-day free trial for Super Premium. The free trial may be available only to eligible users. After the free trial ends, it may automatically convert into a paid subscription unless cancelled before the trial period ends. Subscription trials, renewals, cancellations, billing, and refunds are managed by Apple App Store or Google Play. You are responsible for reviewing trial terms before confirming the purchase and cancelling through the applicable app store if you do not want the subscription to renew or convert into a paid plan. Learny cannot guarantee refunds for app store purchases.
13. App Store and Google Play Disclaimer
Learny subscriptions and in-app purchases may be processed through Apple App Store or Google Play. Apple and Google are responsible for their own payment processing, subscription renewal rules, cancellation tools, refund decisions, purchase confirmation flows, and app store policies. Learny does not directly collect or store full payment card information. Refunds and billing disputes must be handled through the applicable app store provider.
14. Availability and Feature Changes
Learny is an evolving product. We may add, remove, update, rename, redesign, limit, or discontinue features at any time, including AI avatars, topics, messages, game sessions, quizzes, games, Stars, Star Shop, subscriptions, free limits, trials, paywalls, progress features, reward mechanics, app screens, content, AI providers, and third-party services. We do not guarantee that any specific feature will remain available forever.
15. Technical and Service Availability Disclaimer
Learny may not always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. Service may be affected by server maintenance, app updates, bugs, internet connection issues, device limitations, app store issues, Firebase or Google service issues, DeepSeek or other AI provider issues, hosting provider issues, operating system updates, force majeure events, security incidents, or external service interruptions. Learny is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
16. Third-Party Services Disclaimer
Learny may use third-party services, including Firebase / Google, Google Analytics or Firebase Analytics, DeepSeek, Apple App Store, Google Play, Hetzner hosting infrastructure, native iOS and Android speech-to-text tools, and other infrastructure or service providers. We are not responsible for third-party service outages, policy changes, errors, data handling practices, payment decisions, or technical issues outside our control. Your use of third-party services may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies.
17. Safety and Moderation Disclaimer
Learny may use automated systems, safety measures, filters, or moderation processes to reduce unsafe, inappropriate, abusive, or harmful content. However, we cannot guarantee that all unsafe, inaccurate, or inappropriate content will always be detected or prevented. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Learny makes no warranties or representations regarding accuracy of AI content, completeness of educational explanations, suitability for a particular user, academic results, uninterrupted service, absence of bugs, availability of features, compatibility with all devices, correctness of speech-to-text transcription, safety of all AI-generated responses, or long-term availability of Stars, rewards, avatars, or digital items. Learny is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
19. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Learny Technologies LLC and its owners, directors, employees, contractors, partners, affiliates, and service providers are not liable for inaccurate AI responses, misunderstood or misapplied educational content, academic results or lack of improvement, lost data, lost progress, lost Stars or rewards, unavailable avatars or features, app downtime, third-party service failures, payment or refund decisions made by Apple or Google, user reliance on AI-generated content, unauthorized account access caused by user negligence, or indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Use of Learny is at your own risk.
20. User Responsibility for Decisions
You are responsible for decisions made based on Learny content. You should not rely solely on Learny for important educational, personal, medical, legal, financial, psychological, or safety-related decisions. If information matters, verify it through reliable sources or qualified professionals.
21. Updates to This Disclaimer
We may update this Disclaimer from time to time. If we make material changes, we may notify users through the app, website, email, or another appropriate method.
